Cookie Policy
How Spixels uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control optional analytics.

1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Spixels uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
Cookies are small pieces of information that can be stored on your device when you visit a website.
Websites can also use related technologies, such as local storage, scripts and tags, to store or access information on a device.
We use these technologies only where necessary to operate and protect the website or, with your permission, to understand how the website is used.
2. Our cookie categories
We divide the technologies used on this website into two main categories.
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required for important functions such as:
- website operation
- security
- spam and abuse prevention
- remembering your privacy choices
- enabling functionality that you have requested
Where the law permits, strictly necessary technologies can operate without your consent because the website cannot provide the relevant function properly without them.
Analytics
With your permission, we use analytics technologies to understand how visitors use the website.
Analytics is optional and off by default. Google Analytics is not activated until you choose Accept analytics.
You can reject analytics and continue using the website, then change your choice later through Cookie settings in the website footer.
3. Google Analytics
Spixels uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to help us understand website usage and improve the website’s content, performance and usability.
Analytics may provide information such as:
- which pages are viewed
- how visitors move around the website
- approximate session and engagement information
- device and browser characteristics
- how visitors arrive at the website
Google Analytics is optional and is not activated until Analytics consent has been granted through our privacy controls. If you reject analytics, GA4 remains disabled.
We do not use Google Analytics on this website for:
- advertising personalisation
- remarketing
- building advertising audiences
Google provides more information about its privacy practices and Analytics technology on its own website.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile
Our Start a conversation form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the website from automated spam and abuse.
Turnstile may use security technology and process technical information as part of determining whether a request appears legitimate.
It is used for security rather than advertising or analytics, and remains available when Analytics is rejected.
No persistent Turnstile cookie was observed during local testing. Any storage used is limited to what is required for the security operation.
5. Your privacy choice
When you first visit the website, you can choose whether to allow optional analytics.
The available choices are:
- Accept analytics — allows Google Analytics 4.
- Reject analytics — optional analytics remains disabled.
- Cookie settings — allows you to review or change your choice.
Cookie settings is available in the website footer. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or submitting an enquiry.
6. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer.
If you withdraw consent, future optional analytics processing through our consent system is disabled. This does not retrospectively undo processing that took place while consent was valid.
7. Technologies used
The table below describes the main technologies currently used by this website. Exact analytics cookie names and durations can vary according to Google’s implementation and browser controls.
| Provider | Technology | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spixels / GDPR Cookie Compliance | moove_gdpr_popup | Stores the visitor’s cookie and analytics preference | Strictly necessary | 180 days |
| Cloudflare | Turnstile-related security technology | Spam and abuse prevention | Strictly necessary / security | No persistent cookie observed during testing / as required for security operation |
| Google Analytics | _ga | Analytics measurement / distinguishing visitors | Analytics — only after Analytics consent | Up to 2 years |
| Google Analytics | _ga_* | Maintains session and measurement state for the GA4 property | Analytics — only after Analytics consent | Up to 2 years |
8. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies through their settings.
Blocking strictly necessary storage or technologies at browser level may prevent some website functions from working correctly.
Browser controls operate separately from the privacy choices available through this website.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, analytics configuration, technology providers or legal requirements change.
The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
